Welcome to Lopemede Artisan Market
Lopemede Artisan Market takes place on the second Sunday of each month, from March to December, at Lopemede Farm.
The market runs from 10am–3pm and is nestled in the heart of the retail hub at Lopemede Farm. Visitors can enjoy breakfast, coffee or lunch from Fallow & Fields, relax to the sounds of local live music, and browse a carefully curated selection of talented independent makers, artists, artisan food producers and small local businesses.
Managed by a co-operative of independent traders, our market celebrates the very best of local creativity, quality craftsmanship and artisan food. We are passionate about supporting independent makers and creating a welcoming, community-focused market where both traders and visitors can enjoy a relaxed and inspiring day.
Our ethos is simple:
“Celebrating independent makers, local and seasonal food, quality craftsmanship and a welcoming community.”
Every market is carefully curated to provide visitors with a varied and interesting mix of talented makers, artists, artisan food producers, growers and small local businesses, while avoiding duplication wherever possible.
We believe a great market isn’t measured by how many pitches are filled, but by the quality of the traders, the variety of products, and the welcoming community we create together.
Become a Trader
We welcome applications throughout the year from independent makers, artists, artisan food producers, growers and small local businesses.
Whether you’re an established trader or attending your first market, we’d love to hear from you.
Ahead of each monthly market, we review all applications to create a balanced and diverse mix of traders. We aim to make our application process as fair and transparent as possible, with clear criteria, straightforward communication and equal consideration given to every application.
As the market continues to evolve, some of our processes may be refined over time, but our commitment to supporting independent businesses, quality craftsmanship and a welcoming community will always remain at the heart of everything we do.
